A Call From Childhood
Kelly accepted the call to ministry at the age of 10 years old while attending a local Salvation Army Church in Staunton Virginia. Not being raised in a family of church goers, she found her way to that local church because the church bus came to her neighborhood. An older woman named Dolly would stop by to pick her up on Sundays.
Seeking God
By the age of 17 Kelly began seeking the Lord through regular Bible reading, fasting, and prayer. During this season she was invited to a Pentecostal church where the pastor confirmed her calling into ministry and spoke of the anointing that would rest upon her work with youth and children.
Ministry Assignment
At age 22, during a revival at an apostolic church, Kelly was called out and told she was anointed to work with youth and children. Shortly afterward, God opened the door for her to serve as a mid-week chaplain at the Henrico Virginia Juvenile Center.
Bus Ministry
After answering the call "Who will go?", Kelly pioneered bus ministries that reached children, youth, and adults. One ministry grew to averaging over 150 people weekly and became a foundation for many future outreach efforts.
Camp Grace
After two decades of youth and children's ministry, Camp Grace was founded in 2006 as a 501c3 nonprofit where children from all walks of life could hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and grow in the knowledge of God's kingdom.
Grace Apostolic Ministries Int'l
In 2021, during COVID, God led Kelly to begin an online weekly Bible study. Through prayer, fasting, and God's direction, she stepped into pastoral ministry and eventually pursued the online ministry known today as Grace Apostolic Ministries Int'l.
